Weathertech floor liners. I'm so impressed with them I bought my dad a set for his pathfinder.

Automotive tool set. Because i learned how to wrench and saved my wallet from tearing in half

I agree with the OP - I got one of those 3 channel mini helicopters in my stocking last year for xmas and thought to myself "oh great, here's another crappy toy that won't work properly". I was wrong - I spent the next 2 weeks playing with that thing constantly! I still love it to this day!

this one is called a Speedstar, by Propel. about 80 bucks, and its the best ive found so far, for the money

For you guys into these RC flying machines, what is the cheapest option out there that can fly outdoors and has enough power to lift a gopro or similar?

Years ago I owned a small company doing aerial photography and I flew with a powered paraglider. Well... that didn't make much money and my flying windows were so limited (morning or evening to avoid thermals, but then I had shadow issues with the imagery), low wind days only, etc etc...

I had been thinking about a DJI Phantom, but figured I'd break a parrot a couple times first ;) $100 off kijiji to get my feet wet.

Got a new furnace and air a few months ago. I expected to have to re-run the wires and stuff because a lot of the companies rush the job and leave stuff hanging. Everything was done A-1. I haven't tried the air yet obviously but the furnace is quiet and warm. Two thumbs up to Sipco in Etobicoke.

Got a cheap $15 one of these things at christmas. Its indoor use only but we have 14' ceilings in the living room and its soo much fun to fly around. Best christmas pressie ever. My parrot isnt too impressed when I fly it around though, especially when it gets near his cage.

A "chrome vanadium" #1 Phillips screwdriver I bought from Above All downtown for $1 (I think). It is the only Phillips I have ever owned that just won't get chewed up. It is nigh indestructible, the grip is a bit oil stained from use over the years.
