What makes you love your partner?

33yrs together, married 27 she has had my back from day1, four kids all went to uni three still going to university,

She is a federal employee, me I’m a heavy equipment tech.

So true as mentioned previously opposites attract

There is no question that some are more presentable than others, I don't think its an ethnicity thing. But I'll keep up with my research.

One lives in Hamilton taking care of her 1 year old.
The other lives nearby in Kitchener with an 8 year old and a 5 year old. She was helping out occasionally until covid hit.
They are 38.Looong gone from the nest.
We don't have any other health issues other than being seniors. Wife is 73, I'm 68. I keep our bubble very tight.

It totally does matter! I've dated so many Asian women that could be described as pancake, ironing board, cutting board, salt flats, and other flat objects.

I'd totally get hung if I said this to politically sensitive folk lol

There are plenty of Asian women with big boobs. And it seems to me this is something that can be "sized up" before you start dating someone. It shouldn't be something you discover only when you're rounding second base...

Not saying you're the one to blame for dating girls with small boobs. But maybe you are?

My wife is Asian, she was not flat, actually that was one of the things that attracted me to her. That and she weighed 100lbs or so. And the rest of her body was looking delicious

LOL. Actually I do know one Asian chick who's 4'9, super thin, but has massive jugs. We're great friends and she tolerates me talking to her boobs instead of her as a joke.

Married 26 years, my wife is completely different. Hates M/C's and always gives me the raised eyebrow when i tell her i'm "thinking"of buying one. I remember one time on Holiday in Cabo Mexico being tagged in a post on FB on a race bike i had gone thirds on in ownership :) I was like oh yeah forgot to tell you about that one....
It's a good thing she keeps me in check, otherwise i would have been bankrupted several times if i knew all i was getting was green lights when buying two wheels.
 
Dated an Asian girls years ago....great great rack. Fantastic! LoL But it didn't work out.

As for my wife, I love her because she's awesome. Pain the *** sometimes, but awesome the rest of the time. She keeps me in check, makes sure the kids are taken care of and works her butt off in everything she does. Been together coming up on 10 years and look forward to many more.

Frankly, I should tell her I love her more often....never had that around our house and I guess I just assume she knows.

Yea she's not Eastern Asian, but South Asian (our photo albums are called "Curry and Rice" lol)
 
Married for over 30 years now - so the fact she puts up with me is awesome. She followed me to Canada when we got married, is happy for me to golf even though has no interest in the game. Supported me getting my motorcycle license and bike when i turned 50 and is ok with me spending the weekends riding even though she has no desire to come along. In turn she is clear about what she likes to do and when she wants to do it.
 
You know you got a keeper when they stick with you during the hard times.

Truth is I’m a better person with her than without. And hope the same can be said for me to her.

We definitely clash and have different approaches to things. I’m collaborative while she is a little more direct.

But there are common interests. She enjoys a cold beer and camping. Perfectly happy on the back of a bike too. No interest to ride herself.

She keeps track of things while I have the attention span of a squirrel.

It’s a good balance.

Best friends with benefits.

And she has seen me drink too much and puke in the tub and my ugly cry and stayed.

I’ve been married for 35 years and I have no bad or sad stories to share. We don’t share the same hobbies, travel interests but we’re on the same page with respect to family and values.

We have some stereotypical and some progressive stuff going on ( she cooks, i BBQ - she cleans, I do the grass and snow).

We wake up in the same bed every day, have coffee together every morning and we rarely quarrel.

She’s been my best friend for 35 years.
