what happened to Speedworx Superbike?

Dropped by this morning and the shop was empty, clear to the bare walls. Anyone know what happened?

Shop owner (Fawaz Ahmed) opened a shop elsewhere that specialises in grey-market and high-end cars (which he has dabbled with for a long time). Unfortunately, I don't know the name or location of his new shop, and it is not apparent from his facebook page. No idea what his plans are for Speedworx.

Who else does Superbike work around the GTA that we trust?

yeah, looks like it'll be pro 6 ..

Pro6, RC, Champion

If I remember correctly, didn’t Riders Choice recently announce that they were no longer going to work on bikes?....

I never heard that, just checked their website, service, repair and dyno tuning is still shown as services provided.

I checked their website too. Last updated last year (2019) sometime. I heard this a few weeks ago, around the same time Motovan announced they were done. Maybe their website hasn’t been updated yet?
Or there’s always the possibility that I was misinformed.

Again, I have no idea? Im on their mailing list, they are pretty persistent with emailing me special deals and updates and such, I never got any word about them not doing service anymore. (or at least I dont recall seeing any notification about it) Personally Ive never even dealt with them except for track days. (i think i got 7/8's bars from them at the store once) Matt seems like a nice dude.

Apparently he closed up shop at the end of Dec. I believe the mechanic (Brian) is doing work out of his own shop (his house) in the beaches area.

I heard of this too and that the new owners already took ownership at some point when the shop was still up. Speedworx was my go-to store for great service, deals, and location. I feel like us customers haven't got any closure lol and it all of a sudden just shut down.

Good things never last. ****. =(

Brian is in the Kinston Rd. & Markham Rd. area, sorry no other details.
