I remember when we used to go shopping at Knob Hill Farms at weston rd and 401. I remember getting lost in there as a kid and I had to go to the big yellow box behind the cashiers and paging my mom lol. That place was way too big. I know some of you still have the $2 baskets at home and you use them as laudry baskets.

I remember when overalls where in style and it was only cool if you buckled one of the straps. lol

Anyone remember micro machines........I can't figure out why I liked them so much.

what do you remember?

British Knights LOL....anyone remember those shoes? They were the frigin cat's meow back in the day.

And those reflective jacket hi-viz jacket things that everybody used to wear in the early 90's.

Oh and those LA Gear shoes with the lights hahahaha. I remember going to Florida with my family back in the day and loading up on those.

Edit: Also, Darkwing duck. Best. Cartoon. Ever.

Remembering the past, hmmm?

I remember pulling the fire alarm in church, I was only 7.
I remember stealing jellybeans from a girl at lunch in grade 2, to this day we still laugh about it.
I remember tallying up 64points in 20games my first season of house league hockey (they wanted to move me up, but I enjoyed it too much)
I remember getting arrested - twice before 13 years old:rolleyes:
I remember my total of homework notes in grade 6 (224 total) sent to my parents to sign
I remember getting suspended in grade 8 for 3 days
I remember getting sent home the same day I returned from my suspension
I remember my first dirtbike
I remember first starting to drive at 15 (98 ford windstar and still driving it today...btw the windshield has a 2 foot long crack that has been growing and it's about $300 to replace. The van is only worth $450 if that - do I replace the windshield or drive with my motorcycle helmet on when it shatters???
I remember buying my street bike at 19 without my parents knowing I went through with the sale and brought it home when they were out. They didn't think it was mine. I was telling them for the 2 years I was going to get a street bike.
Finally, I remember almost loosing a friend and my life on our bikes waiting at an intersection May 19th - Steels / Islington, 1:15, STUPID RED LIGHT RUNNER got smashed by a pick up truck 15ft from us.

Anyway, looking back is always goodtimes. :happy3:

I remember when Wonderland was surrounded by farm land.

Darkwing Duck is a great cartoon. However, it is not the greatest cartoon ever. That title goes to either Taz-mania or Animaniacs.

Hypercolour t-shirts.
If they were released today they would be considered an 'epic fail'

My first pair of Dr.Martins. Suede 3 holes that I had to go down to Queen Street to pickup. Make sure you scrape all the wax off of the stitching so they don't look brand new.

walkmans - parents bought us one of the first ones - it was big
betamax - cousins used to brag about owning one, my father bought a VCR shortly after. All my cousins came to our house to watch movies.
banana seat bicycles - My parents bought us these just after BMX's hit the market.
playing sports on the street (i never see this anymore) - hockey, baseball until you couldnt see the ball anymore at night.
music videos - before much music, it was the thing to watch music videos on (usually) City TV - there was the chum countdown and a show called Toronto Rocks.
transformers - to this day, my favourite toy ever. I even collected them. Sold a bunch of them to pay for my first motorcycle.

I remember Hari Krishnas dancing around on Yonge St, late 60's.

The Pop Shoppe pop (Although I hear that's back now)
When no one had cell phones
Atari 2600 - Man I played Berzerk for hours!
Black and White TV's - Parents hated kids in the hall, so used to watch it in my room in black and white.
GT Racers!

I could go on and on...:)

Very true, but even at 20, I still get out once in a while. It really sucks, remember playing from 3-10 on school nights never doing my homework - hence all my homework notes.

Went through a box in my basement, because I have so much time on my hands....this is what I found -

LOL - Tamagotchi, Rock'em Sock'em Robots, Gameboy, HotWheels, POGS, CrazyBones, YO-YO

Power Rangers or TMNT wins for best show.

Cartoon - . Woody the Woodpecker

I remember doing ramps with steel ashtrays from the donut shop duct-taped to our leathers and shooting sparks. I remember OPP guys doing burnouts for us in their police cars..I remember people high-siding on the Islington ramp at 3am..I remember 200 bikes lined up on Explorer Dr and drag racing for an hour..those were the days.. :)

I remember when Wonderland was surrounded by farm land.

it was actually out of the city. Seemed farther up the 400 than it used to.

Hypercolour t-shirts.
I remember a girl coming downstairs after disappearing for a while with her boyfriend at a highschool party. She had two perfect hand shapes on her boobs, and was totally unaware of why everyone was laughing.

I remember having to sit through Jem and the Holigrams for my sister, while I waited for GI Joe to come on.
I remember riding my dirtbike in empty fields right allong main roadways and having no fear of cops or anything else shutting down the fun.
I remember my friends and deciding we were going to learn to swordfight by beating each other senseless with sticks (how did no one lose any major body parts?).
I remember seeing Lenny Kravitz open for the Cult.
Oh, oh, I remember when they first made it against the rules to smoke on school property - and it just moved from behind the school to right in front - the neihbors must have thought the whole school suddenly lit up at the same time! (teachers were way more cranky about it than the students).

Knob Hill Farms was da bomb back in my ghetto days. Went there with my mom all the time and I used to eat a **** load of the free samples they had out there. Oh the good ol days of 85.

I remember COOOOOOOOTIES!!!!! And a lot of you have them, still.

Circle, circle, dot, dot!!!!!!

I had to laugh at this. Been there, done that. Queen St W used to be the epitome of cool when I was 14.

You all have it wrong. Rescue Rangers was the best TV show.

Pick your nose

Pick your bum

Now you have some bubblegum!

:D

I remember when kids use to drop coins down the hall in H. School and scamper + stomp to get it. If you were not careful your hands would have a nice shoe print. Was the risk worth it? Oh yeh, it was so much fun, until someone gets caught by the principal, then your arse would be on fire.

I remember when it was our last day of school and we would fill balloons/plastic bags of water and throw it at people. Things get a bit hectic when they decide to throw a bag on a teacher. One kid filled a large garbage bag of water and dumped it from the balcony. I ran and hide, cuz I know thats when schit hits the fan. Everyone was doing this cuz they know they can;t get expelled.

On those last days, we also painted our school uniform. I had a dapper drawing of the Hellspawn, which everyone signed
