What did you do to your Race/Track Bike today - 2014

Re: What did you do to your Race/Track Bike today - 2015

Put it up for sale as I'm considering buying a different track bike....

Not exotic enough for him, and too many cylinders. LOL

Yeah yeah... I know... The Triumph is a great bike, and it pains me to give up a great parts supply, but the other bike... mmmmm....

Instead of draining water out of racebikes, my wife allowed me to bring em in!

Lots to do in the offseason- Crash damage to 929 has resulted in the need to replace both clipons, one complete rearset and one peg and associated bolts for the other....right side engine cover has a crack and must be replaced as it is weeping a bit of oil. The broken fairings have already been sent to Squidskins for repair. After thousands of laps from 3 yrs of endurance racing, it will get new wheelbearings on both sets of wheels, another set of rotors for the rain wheels, and Ohlins shock rebuilt.
The YZF has had terrible carbeuration all year, coupled with an unbelievebly grabby clutch has made ever launch from the starting grid a complete failure...making for a big game of catchup every race. The emulsion tubes will be replaced with Factory Pro titanium stuff and the clutch will be removed to inspect the basket for grooves, and to drill more oiling holes in the basket as well.
May begin to strip FZR 400 down to figure out what will be needed to get the VRRA bike together.
