Sorted my throttlelock and crampbuster with some silcone tape to prevent slipping. WIll find other uses.
Could also be a bit of moisture in a connector. If you take connectors apart, hit them with a blast of air.I've got a weird one that started on the 2018 Volt.
2nd time this month now...the FL turn signal doesn't work when the car sits for an extended period in the sun. When it gets very warm the turn signal turns off.
Drive for a few minutes, and get air moving around the car, and the light works again....
I'm hoping that it's just a connector to the bulb / connection somewhere accessible that got loose.
So you're the reason they made the glue weaker.Wasn't my garage. Hotel room actually in Dryden. Broke a little plastic bit off my new Klim krios helmet. I have a nervous condition in my left hand which means crazy glue is mandatory. Glued my finger to the plastic and to the adjacent finger of course. Beer me.
wtf was that!?! Tried clipped in yesterday as I hate riding on the flats in running shoes (seat height wrong, too squishy, foot seems to slope towards outside, etc). Felt ok, less float than speedplay (and much stiffer, not the effortless rotation), more than spd. Then I tried to unclip my good leg. Uh oh. Doesn't want to come out. Now I'm f'd. Try harder. Still stuck firm, this isn't going well. Twist really hard and out I came. Not sure I like how hard they are to release. I definitely can't get my bad leg out without using my hand to twist my heel. Even worse than the days of the cages where you had to release the straps to get out. Maybe they'll break in a bit. They are adjustable but I think just harder, they come set at easiest setting from the factory.Got one of the kids bikes ready to go. Swapped pedals on my bike from ritchey spd to time atac w platforms. Should be Easier to ride around with the kids. As a bonus get to see how I feel about atacs. Still need to switch the cleats on the shoes but I'm not sure I can ride clipped in for a few months anyway.
Wife had her first clipped in tip-over yesterday. Broken wrist....Tried clipped in yesterday as I hate riding on the flats in running shoes ...
Aww crap. Sorry to hear. I had a few tipovers using cages but never clipless. Yesterday was getting close to a situation. I was scoping out steep sideslopes where I could ride in and tip over without falling so far.Wife had her first clipped in tip-over yesterday. Broken wrist.
She was in a bike lane in a small town (Perth) riding with her sisters. A car turned right into a supermarket parking lot in front of her so she mashed the brakes to avoid hitting the car then tipped. She said it happened really fast. She's pretty good -- has never happened to her before.Aww crap. Sorry to hear. I had a few tipovers using cages but never clipless. Yesterday was getting close to a situation. I assume she has spd? How did that happen? They normally release easily when you're falling.
it isn't too difficult, i purchased a one way bleeder valve from amazon (10-15$) and it lets you bleed the brakes by yourself , only takes a few minutesI recently put in new pads on my sv650. The brakes are now feeling very mushy. I think I should bleed the brakes and in my almost 20 years of riding and mechanical work, I've never bled brakes before. I may start a separate thread about it.
Should be simple enough. @PaisaMed had one before.i fired up an old aprilia 50cc scooter that has been sitting for about 8 years. its loud AF so i'm thinking there is some sort of exhaust leak
i think its a 2 stroke as well and needs to be topped up with 2T oil but i'm not sure. any mechanics/garages i could take this to get freshed up at?
might be my daily driver doing 2L/100km with these gas prices Lol

seemed to work quite well
I have a sym mio 50cc carbed scooter too. I took it to fada scooters 2 years ago for full maintenance. Trailered it there and rode it back.i fired up an old aprilia 50cc scooter that has been sitting for about 8 years. its loud AF so i'm thinking there is some sort of exhaust leak

Yes… Dry sump would be the best way of putting it. Also has a 2-step oil fill process.Dry sump?
Edit:
Yup. You are lucky it is just two plugs. Some dry sump cars are pushing double digits. There isnt a single low point that oil drains to.
