What credit card are you using that's working for you?

but then you are missing out on free dividends ! :D

Exactly!

I never worry about balance or interest rates either.. I pay the card off completely, and before the due date every month.. so it's interest free. But because I use the card for EVERYTHING (I'll whip it out for a coffee) Visa pays ME a pretty decent chunk of change every year to use it..

I use a Hello Kitty Credit Card to pay off everything. But, I keep in mind about a interest rates and cashbacks. Though I am paying everything using credit card but it is also important to look for interest rates and cashbacks. This is the way where you can save money and spend save money on buying other things.

I hate my Emerald Visa though low interest rate at prime but I've had it for 10 years. No real rewards though one can argue saving on the interest is the reward compared to getting something tangible. Though if you keep $0 balance that is mute lol. Signing up for another one would take a hit on my credit score.

Upgraded my credit card yesterday to TD First Class Travel. $120 annual fee waived since I also upgraded my checking to select service. I like to travel a lot and I own 2 houses so I can tie some of my utility payments to my credit card for points.

I prefer cash so cash back cards are what I go for all the time.

I used to MBNA smart cash back card but it sucks now since TD took it over.

I use Scotiabank Momentum for business with 3% cash back
Personal I use Scotiabank gold amex with 4% cash back.

I looked into all cards with fees etc... these are the best ones right now.

Still trying to get Amex black card....

Capitol One Visa 3.99% interest until 2016, then Prime + 3%

Whats in your wallet ??

No extra frills, but a great rate when I need to carry a balance....

I was considering this. What's the catch though? Seems too good to be true.

There's no catch ... the card is only good if you carry balance. Most people who do (and do so knowingly ... not the ones who say I didn't know ... LOL) use their line of credit if they have to and carry it there, because it is cheaper, most of the time ...

On other cards, you can easily collect cash back which here you will not ....

Heard lots of people say it's just not worth the price and it's lost its cache.

Ha, well I certainly carry a balance and always trying to get cheaper interest. Right now I have a beginner visa for 11%, but 80$ a year. It works out cheaper in the long run to pay that annual fee. I'll be calling to get one of those low interest cards tonight.

It's simple, I don't carry a balance. If I know I have to carry a balance I won't buy it... I use this to build credit and get rewards. Also it's easier to track expenses rather than cash.
