So I everytime I get my chain lubed I end up with grease on my white wheel rims. It takes FOREVER to clean. Is there something that you guys use that can cut through the grease and make it easier to remove?

WD40, Kerosene or Bug n Tar Remover are the best.

Kerosene on a rag is the cheapest and I also use it to clean the chain.

Wipe excess off your chain after you lube it

Clean it with kerosene and start using Dupont Teflon Multi-use lubricant. It doesn't fling at all, and if you really overdo it it's easy to clean.

Also, get your wheels painted in a more practical color. If you just want to pose, you'll get away without lubing the chain at all for a few years.

I guess it would have made more sense to post here. I use the cleaner that comes with the chain brush in the cap. I think its maxima. It takes grease off of any surface.

Simple Green works good for me.

Simple green is good but might kill off any protective wax you might have applied (to keep your wheels clean)

A good hardcore wheel cleaner i use on my car is called Sonax.
Ordered it from eshine and does wonders... id use caution around you chain though not to dissolve any lubricants :)

kerosene in a spray bottle. Also dont lube just before you ride, and you will have a lesser mess to clean.

This.

Diesel fuel. And get high on it at the same time~

Hahahaha I swear to god I use Pledge to clean and polish my bike! I'm not lying! :lmao:

Pledge is a very good touch-up polisher and windshield/headlight/visor cleaner, but I haven't used it for degreasing (yet :) )

I am tempted to recommend DOT brake oil. It would take care of those fugly white rims once and for all. :laughing3:

Before someone actually tries the above, don't! The only thing brake oil is good for (except it's original usage) is stripping paint!

You actually pay 100 bucks for chain lubricant?

Holy smokes! :)
That's a typo, a bug in eBay or someone's stupid joke. Just go to Lowes and get some.
