I’ve always loved the God of War series, but for the life of me I can’t get into this “re-imagining” of the game. It’s just too different for me to consider it a God of War game.
I find it interesting how Ragnarok is generally well liked, but what exactly that means is all over the place. I consider it to be just about a perfect sequel, and they did a fantastic job of writing Thor's character, which still dovetails with all the hearsay in the first game. For context I never really played any of the GoW games prior to 2018, though I do have some of them.
I have been opening it and finding only disappointment

I agree with you, @spitRR , but once you open your mind and disregard the fact that we don't know how really Kratos went to Midgard, and a bunch of other stuff, the 2018 games becomes really ok.
@TwistedKestrel, Ragnarok starts good, IMHO, but it is disappointing by the end. Thor and Odin specifically is possibly the worst characters, conclusion wise, as opposed to Baldur, for instance.

I barely get time to play anymore with a toddler and another one on the way (ETA June 2023), so reading through this made me jealous.
When I do find some time, even an hour or 2, I play CoD MW2. Multiplayer, HC TDM mostly. Just something to zone out after a long day/ week.

Well you were "playing" another game and sadly looks like you lost twice... (I'm just kidding)
I’ve got 3 so far…if they go pass out before 9 I’m happy and bomb to the basement to play a bit before they start wailing for mommy during her shower / bath.
Last night I got 10min. A few nights ago I started racing at 9 and ended at 11pm uninterrupted.
Need to make sure I don’t buy this new Zelda game…because I like to buy games and never play them.
I do the same but have to remember they aren’t like apples, they won’t go off.

I’d be in love if it wasn’t Alienware jk jk just dell making everything so that you can’t just buy replacements you have to have them do it cuz they have a custom PSU cable to attach to a modified motherboard legit 99% of Alienware stuff is hard to upgrade unless you want to strip it and start fresh. Other than that I love the colour scheme and your setup is clean as hellThe merging is complete.

I mean I’m tempted just because people started using the crafting **** to make literal cars, aircraft stealth bombers and literal functioning battle mechs but I have to remind myself I have no free time to figure out how to do that stuff

Been building my own system for 29 years. Decided why the F not at this point. Was on sale, about $500 more vs PC partpicker. Just went for the experience.
Appreciate it, clean gaming area is key!

Of course can’t say I’m as good with keeping it clean but I also have a lot of music equipment and wires around for it. But ya I prefer being able to build my own stuff and replace any parts that have issues. I used to build pcs for my friends as well growing up
