Let's not mention the weather right now! :)

Anyone riding around tonight? I'm in the Bay & College area and was thinking of going for a spin at around 8PM.

There's a "dessert meet up" at Bayview and York Mills @ 8:00pm... I might head up there from downtown.

My hands were frozen until about noon after my ride to work in Markham this morning. Jealous of those heated grips!

Good idea. I'll aim for that around 8:30pm and hope to meet a few GTAM members and grab a coffee.
My beemer is still a little banged up from the Trans-Lab highway but the heated grips work well!

Did you upgrade your bike? Btw heated grips can be had for $10 off of ebay. I have a pair at home need to install it.

Won't make it tonight. Couldn't start the bike probably due to low battery. Guess a few days on the battery tender and yesterday's ride wasn't enough to charge it up.

Overnight on a tender is usually more than enough.

Also, if the ride was over half an hour at over 3000 rpm thenit should have been sufficiently charged. Might need to get a new battery. Last thing you wan tis the battery to die on the highway or something.

You're right. I started looking through the ADVrider thread and looks like it's time for my to change out the 3-4 year old stock batteries. Fortunately the weather this week means I won't be missing out on too much riding. Hopefully get back on the saddle on by the weekend.

I hate to be a ***** but I just got pulled into a very spontaneous family night out. I'm going to have to pass tonight. I'll check forums for Sat and Sun, but not sure about that either.
