If anything changes I’ll jump to meet you guys in the morning. But for now doesn’t look like I’ll be able to make it.
 
I'm trying to figure out if the images of Southwood on Google Maps street view are really new or really old, because it looks almost freshly paved. I was there exactly a year ago, and it was terrible. They were repaving starting at the north end, but when I asked earlier this year, they hadn't completed. Anyone else been on within the last month or so?

I've been on it several times this year, its business as usual. Some spots are better, some are worse.

As of May 22nd this year, the tarmac is good when you jump on from Hw 11, and then gets progressively potholed/with frost heaves as you move on ahead. But it's tarmac throughout and I would consider it good overall

I agree but I wouldn't say the later part of southwood is good. Tbh, if I can avoid the last 5-7 km going north, I would do that.
 
Waiting on a small part for the bike and a family’s obligation date. I’m very interested if I can make it work. Did you guys square away if you’re going Saturday or Sunday?

waiting on the weather, last night showed sunday clear. may be a Friday decision.
 
Let it rain - i havent washed my bike in a while.
 
If the trip gets moved I may be able to make it...but hoping you guys can go up!

Hell if it rains my plans may get shafted too...
 
Looks like we’re all getting rained out this weekend …
