If Carney gets in, I won't be surprised if anything that fires (or could fire) a projectile gets banned. None of their reasoning makes any sense. Guns scary, they must be removed from society is the only reasonable explanation for their path.
 
Something i have not done in a long while is shoot a rifle. was a common thing as a kid growing up.

IPSC is making the pivot to what they refer to as "mini rifle". IPSC with .22lr rifles.
As time goes on handgunners are eventually going to die off and with the current ban on purchasing handguns there's no new people getting into the sport.
We still have IPSC shotgun, but if they ban semis and pumps... that'll be gone too.
The only problem with mini rifle is that there's really one one rifle available that suits the game and it's really kinda of a POS

23LR?

On a slightly related note. Does anyone shoot 22 short? I came into a stock of it and I have nothing it makes sense to use it in.

Apparently, you can use them in most (or maybe all) 22LR but you need to clean well after as you get contaminants in the chamber that need removed before you run 22LR again. Seems entirely not worth the effort to burn some old low-speed rounds.

I have some old single shot 22 rifles I could use them in I can lend a rifle to play with if you want. Or I can grab them whenever if you want to get rid of them.

I don't have a license. Not worth the hassle for me to have guns. When I see you, you can have them.
 
I have a large box of twenty two LR that can go to a new home . Sold off the plinking guns . Looks like they should go to ScubaSteves inventory.
