We Know you Ride, But do you Shoot?

Re: We know you ride, but do you Shoot?

Yes. Took me a while to get one. I live really close to it so that was a big selling factor. And yearly dues were preety affordable at around 400$

Sent from phone, excuse typos.
Mixed reviews on that. I've read where people go on to saying they're a rich man's club

Whats the yearly dues at target ? I think above 600$ and its small - good on a coldday though. (Unsure what calibers can be shot) - id say this one isna rich mans range if anything.

Silvedale is just too far for me even if they are under 300$

so at 400ish the closeness factor will have paid for itself. +sense of community + brekfest everysaturday :)

Barrie is also REALLY good just couldn't get in. I have the registration paper right here. Also around 400 if im not mistaken.

Uxbridge shooting club is also preety good put they only have trap and skeet - it was an amazing timw when i went also i think it was just around 8 or 900 for the first year. So i dont know about this whole richmans club. I could argue against that.

Re: We know you ride, but do you Shoot?

Target is around $800 first yr, then $700ish for renewals.

They upgraded the back stop (finally) so all all rifle calibres can be shot.
Bad deal is they do so many daily non-license walk in shooting packages that the place is a ****ing gong show for regular members.

I stopped shooting there 2 years ago because of that reason alone.

...ok, I'm in firearm withdrawl... sorry... at work and want to be at the range :)

...and lastly, for your viewing pleasure (black gun dudes look away), a fully restored and colour case hardened (by the best in this country) 1912 BSA 310 Australian Cadet in 32-20, but also perfectly chambers and fires my "7.5mm Swiss Ordnance" handloads for my Swiss model 1882 revolver. Original barrel, excellent bore, and a sweet, tight, accurate falling block action. A real woods carry pleasure. I can take anything from hares to deer with it, depending on my handloads that throw 100-110 grain lead SWC or WC's 865-2000fps. I will be buried with this rifle:

Awesome collection @TRIPLE

I'm glad I found this thread. I've got some reading to catch up on.
My App is with RMCP atm being reviewed. Saw them take out payment from my cc so I'm getting excited for my license to come!

I already have my first 5 firearms on my MUSTBUY list. I hope to own these in the next year or 2. They're all cheap(under 2k for the lot) and gets me shooting:

GSG1911 22lr
Glock 19/17
SKS Tula
Keltec su16
Norinco coach shotgun
Bonus: Type81 (if they ever arrive)

Hope to ride to the range with a few of you and enjoy a new and exciting hobby.

Cheers n ride/shoot safe!

^^
Only 5 to to start? Lightweight. Hahaha

Soon the obsession will take over and you'll find yourself trolling CGN late at night to score deals on guns.
