Im looking for a decent (inexpensive but does a good job) place to paint my F4, nothing fancy, just one colour. Any suggestions?
PM "Cheekeebandito" ..
He is probably getting super busy around this time of year .. but give him a shout.
Les is real busy, especially since he just launched his sail boat for the season. LOL
How much? Thanks for the help. I went with a guy out in Kitchener
++1How much?
Before and After pics please.
I don't get it...How long will it take.
How good will it be.
How cheap will it be.
Pick two. You cannot have all three.
I don't get it...
If you want something done well and want the job done in a reasonably short time-frame, you will have to pay the price - it won't be cheap.
If you want the job done in a reasonably short time-frame and you don't want to pay a big price, it will be a poor quality job.
If you want a good quality job and don't want to pay a big price, it will take forever to get it done.
Good ... fast ... cheap ... pick two.
The reason for this is dictated by supply and demand. Any organization that is capable of doing something well and at a favorable (low) price will end up getting swamped with orders and backlogged forever. The sensible thing at that point is to raise their pricing to reduce the backlog.
Everyone always wants a high quality job done cheaply and they want it now. It never works that way.
See the above comments about how backlogged a certain well-regarded bike painter is ...
I'm very well aware of the economic term "supply and demand" as I did spend 3 years doing an undergrad in economics I just didn't put two plus two together, haha...
You get what you pay for. I for one did my own paint job and saved a few bucks but took me a good few months.
Mine actually turned out really well but I wasn't kidding on the few months...I did my own paint job and saved a few bucks but it looks like hell up close, or even not all that close.
