Walmart battery

Need to change battery. Occasionally find some in Walmart, but only dimensions like "with x high x depth" shown on package box, no max amperage, no life time. So I'm confused a bit.

Maybe some one has experience with ? or any feedback ?

If you can get to royal distributing, they have decent cheap batteries.
I believe I paid $56 for mine and it lasted a good 3 years until I sold my bike.

Are you looking on th website or in person? I would assume they would have all the data on the box....

Edit: looking at their website they list cca ans warranty right on the page......... What more info are you looking for?

I've had a Wal-Mart battery going on three seasons now, with no issues. It doesn't fit like the OEM, but cranks just as well. IIRC, there was a cross reference table I used on line to make the selection. The first OEM battery I had in the bike lasted 8 seasons. Being impressed, I bought another one, for 200.00. It lasted 2 season, *with the same level of care as the first*. The Wal-mart battery was less than 1/2 price, and has lasted longer. Even if it dies this year, and I need to buy another one, I'm still ahead of the game by twice the battery life. My guess is it will last 6-7 years, which is about as long my batteries last on average.

If they offer a battery that fits/matches my needs, I would not hesitate in buying one again.

I saw this boxes, I even opened couple, no any additional info.

Another point is if you, or know someone, are going to Buffalo/Niagara Falls NY, then p/u a battery at Walmart there. It will be half the cost of one here. I paid $40 for my size14 battery there compared to $87 here.

LOL, I just tried that, had a buddy over the border, and asked him to grab me one.....he came back empty handed....

OUT OF Stock......they had each and every other one on the shelf except the one I needed......Doh....

I've bought batteries from Walmart over the years for our cars, fleet of trucks and a tractor battery.

Don't recall ever having a problem with them, and would not hesitate to buy one again.

I CAN"T say the same for canadian tire batteries. Sent a few of them back for dead cells. Garbage.

Try Glen @ FS motorcycle. Has some options for batteries...stand up guy as well.

Just checked them out, they want $97 for my battery!

CDN tire is a little cheaper at $85. Why is this thing so damn expensive?

I actually just found a better deal @ saskbattery.com - $69.99!

Although, I called Glen at Flying Squirrel and he has these in-stock for $55! No shipping needed!

Anyone looking for a battery should try him first glen@fsmotorcycle.com
