Thanks for the link, there are some good ideas here. It's not only a question of you being safe, police will ticket you for an improperly mounted license place. Depending on the mood of the cop, you might be subjected to the "fine tooth comb" roadside treatment.

Let the man ride the bike they way he wants. Safety nazis. Lol.

Thanks bud.
I can appreciate some feedback from other people, I guess this is probably the wrong forum to post modified motorcycles.
Agreed. Op, you wouldn't believe how many members here have their plate under the rear fender, in front of the rear tire. Highly visible. Or run flush mount signals, which often aren't visible from ANY angle. LolYou got the right place. All forums has their arm chair commandos. I can be one of them given the time and topic.
Keep posting. Enjoying the eye candy.
All my equipment is top notch. FYI.
Its all good any advice is welcomed by me, my bike is legal except perhaps for tail light mounting location but even that is up for debate i guess, but i am working on it.
To be honest I didn't think it was a problem.
This is what I am going to use, I know that it is kind of a small light but I still want I to look custom.
