VTX with 250 rear tire

Let the man ride the bike they way he wants. Safety nazis. Lol.

Nice bikes. Welcome to the forum.

It's not only a question of you being safe, police will ticket you for an improperly mounted license place. Depending on the mood of the cop, you might be subjected to the "fine tooth comb" roadside treatment.

Thanks for the link, there are some good ideas here.
As for the plate I guess it would depend the cop, last year me and a few friends were having a coffee at the Tim's parking lot in Sutton and a cop pulled in to check out our bikes, we did ask him about the plate and he says it depends on the cop but usually they don't have a problem with it as long as he plate holder has some sort of running light at night.

Thanks bud.
I can appreciate some feedback from other people, I guess this is probably the wrong forum to post modified motorcycles.

You got the right place. All forums has their arm chair commandos. I can be one of them given the time and topic.

Keep posting. Enjoying the eye candy.

Agreed. Op, you wouldn't believe how many members here have their plate under the rear fender, in front of the rear tire. Highly visible. Or run flush mount signals, which often aren't visible from ANY angle. Lol
Nice ride.

All my equipment is top notch. FYI.

I don’t mind the advice. Before I joined the forum, I didn't know it was technically illegal (re brake light). And thanks to the forum I know that when I swap out my rear signals, I should make sure that the new mounts place them 9" apart.

Its all good any advice is welcomed by me, my bike is legal except perhaps for tail light mounting location but even that is up for debate i guess, but i am working on it.
To be honest I didn't think it was a problem.
This is what I am going to use, I know that it is kind of a small light but I still want I to look custom.

I got after market exhaust and pretty sure it's ticket worthy. I still ride it with all it's glorious racket. To hell with the law.

Bike looks great. Even for a jap. Lol.

But if I couldn't see your brake light, I'd let you know. It's always nice to have good form and function.

Better us telling you, than a cop telling you via a ticket, or a car telling you via a smack from behind because they couldn't see your brake light ...

Welcome!

That will look sweet. And more visible.
