Ventilated Kevlar Jeans?

Just saw the velocity kevlar jeans group buy http://www.gtamotorcycle.com/vbforu...44-Kevlar-Jeans-with-Armour-(End-Date-July-17) and I was wondernig if it's possible to get perforated or ventilated jeans with armour? Reason I ask is because of my undertail exhaust. Sometimes in stop and go traffic I can't stand it... the heat drives me nuts and until I get going it makes it too uncomfortable.

I'm going to grab a pair from velocity but was wondering if there are options out there for ventilated jeans.

Haven't heard of ventilated jeans, but I do ride in my commute with a pair of Joe Rocket Alter Ego 2.0, with zipper opening from knee to *** to knee.

What I find is that the wind really flows, and I haven't felt hot in my pants while riding (except when I pass by nice summer "scenary" ;)). I also think that the extra layer of textile material actually shields the sun from actually baking what's underneath.

Last year I rode with just my regular denim jeans and one unavoidable low-side cost me 3 weeks of mobility, so I always ride with armored pants on these days.
 
I have shift jeans with stretch panels, one in crotch would ventilate nicely while moving but that is all. Usually kevlar jeans are havy denim and armor on top so they are hot. I have Olympia pants and those are mesh which feels like riding in shorts. They are overpants with side zippers so really easy to take off.

OP you can also wear padded shorts with knee guards. it wont be so hot and you are still protected. you're gonna look a bit funny though lol

I agree with you on the alter ego 2.0s

Mine still held up after a slide . I find denims to get way too hot.. I think denims tend to be tighter and therefore when the Sun beats down on them you really feel the heat..

...they just might convince me as a hot weather alternative to the kevlar sliders I wear on unknown roads and longer trips.
I live in shorts year round and hate long pants at the best of times. I'm happy with the Slider 3s except in hot weather. They are soft ans don't feel like armour at all - but they are thick - feels great when it's chilly but if I actually have to walk around in them - yuck.

These are the ticket - gonna order a pair.

I could do with armoured cargo shorts that are mesh based.....specially since I'm going to move to Cairn's Aus where it's close to 30 most days of the year.

Is there no way to wrap the exhaust pipe with insulation and reflective aluminum tape, in order to reduce the heat? I don't know how old you are but cooking the boys is detrimental to your virility. Aircon underpants won't cut it.

Check out Duluth Trading in the states. Fire Hose pants, cheap, comfy and safe as long as you wear additional armour. Made from cloth that they make fire hoses out of. Guaranteed not to tear, rip or fray and tested by some motorcyclists. I own several pair and they are very comfortable but (knock-on-wood) have not tested them on the pavement.
