Using the 407 for free

Put very bright LED in addition into you Lic plate light. Turn it on when you passing 407 cameras. It very hard for any camera to deal with bright ligth source.

When they upgraded the cameras to the new high speed ones (notice when you do 200 through the cameras it usually gets your plate now? ) they got upgraded with WDR and Eclipse. Think of looking at the sun and putting your thumb over it so you can see all around it, Eclipse is the same idea. WDR evaluates the exposure of the image on a pixel per pixel basis, so the bright lights/LED's around the plate won't cause the actual plate to under expose (be dark) like before.

Why would a bright light meant to obscure your plate be any different than the plate covers you can get that make your plate black for a second at the push of a button, from a legal perspective?

Friend of mine had one of those. Got caught with it. Had to cut the wiring and smash it on the side of the road. Luckily didn't get fined.

The black cover obscures the plate to everyone, the flash of bright light only fools cameras, it wouldn't affect an officer looking at it. You could probably beat the white flash in court.

Just ride as close to the edge as possible while going through the cameras. The most I've ever paid is for one exit. Took it from Jane St. to the end in Pickering once, entirely for free. Flip up plates and acrobatics to cover the plate... seriously? Geez.
