Hi. Can you guys and gals suggest 2-3 places to visit to look at used bikes in person in order to see which one would work for me?
I am working towards my license and started thinking about what to buy. Wanna sit on the bike and see if specific model size is for me.

I am pretty much set on cruisers with older design. Probably will be buying something used under $5k. My current shortlist is
Suzuki Boulevard (S40 or S50)
Kawasaki Vulcan (500, 750, 900)
Yamaha V Star (650, 950)
maybe Honda Shadow (600, 750)

So what are the good places where there's a chance to see most of above?

It's going to be hard to find $5000 bikes in showrooms. You may do better going to look at private sales and being honest that you dont know if it will fit you. Good luck.

Edit:
So I was wrong. Tk4's link has a surprising number of bikes in that range.

The idea is to try and see them in a single place. Only then decide what and where to buy.

I'll second this - though I didn't buy my bike from them, they were awesome when I was looking. Crazy selection, wicked guys. Show up, take their advice and you won't go wrong.

It's a 02 cbr 954 and it's $7995. I sold my 954rr 7 years ago for $4700. Have bikes gone up this much??
