Upgrading stock exhaust pipes

Have a VStar 1100 Classic with stock exhaust & would like to hear in person what Vance & Hines or fishtail pipes sound like on a VStar 1100 before I make this change on my bike.
Would anyone be willing to do this as we can meet up at a location in Toronto or just outside of the city.

Thank you

As more more and more municipalities pass quantitative noise by-laws, if it was me, I would make sure that whatever I installed had a reasonable amount of muffling. You can get away with louder than stock but straight pipes days are numbered in the GTA (or at least the cost to run them will keep climbing quickly). Good luck with your search.

Stay away from anything marked 'not for highway use'.

Isn't that everything? I thought they all came that way so they could avoid spending a fortune on certification.
Its a way to get around it, but it won't help when Johnny Law sees the stamp. In California for instance, its illegal to even sell them. H-D got in trouble a few years ago.

Get a cobra full system, no baffles. Had on my vstar, stupid loud but lots of thumbs up from people everywhere

I'm sick of hearing to loud bikes and cars, especially between the hour of 11 PM and 3 AM. Maybe you confused a middle finger for a thumb................

Just go to some of the shoe shines and ask guys to run up their bikes for you. Beware that a lot of manufacturers and paid reviewers will say "bolt-on, no modifications required" but that is almost never true. In order to get the true benefit of a free-flowing exhaust an engine has to be tuned for them. I have Vance and Hines Straight-Shots. V&H look great and sound great. Came with my bike without baffles. I installed baffles later to avoid tickets, angering neighbours and losing my hearing.

ahahah Ya it was obnoxiously loud, I preferred the Vance slip ons on my vtx1300, perfect noise level

I’ve got a set of kerkers With true dual vance and Hines headers on my Harley that have a great sound, Not that load but load enough to sound good
