Does anyone but Corbin make them for a SS? Are they worth the $$? I know the back of an R6 will never be 'comfortable' but there's no reason it can't be better than stock.
I've looked into a more comfortable seat for my bike, but usually the limiting factor in comfort isn't the seat, its the riding position. Having high pegs and leaning forward are far worse for comfort than a stock seat.
That's true. Can't do anything about the high pegs, but the Vinxxgrip helps A LOT with the forward lean. I'm just trying to find ways to make days like last Sunday (400kms) as enjoyable as possible.
I like Sargeant saddles, I ordered one last week for my GSA, had one on my old GS, great seats. I had a corbin on my old CB919, but cant compare a corbin on a 919 to a GS Sargeant, to completely different. They do have seats for an R6: http://sargentcycle.com/yamss.htm
****never mind, looks like its just a skin that goes over the seat****
I am sure that sargent would have no problem doing a custom seat if you send them the seat pan. The covers are just a cheap/fast way of getting something beter than stock
