Binging on Mayans, FX.

Looking for an ape hanger setup for my Vstrom.

@Relax if your wife likes to read, the series Bones is based on Kathy Reichs' novels who in real life is a forensic pathologist...a lot of what she wrote and subsequently became the series is based on actual cases she's solved...I love that series and her books are amazing as well...

She doesn't read, but we did know about that. I thought it was hilarious that the TV show portrays Brennan as the author and Reichs as the fictional character in the books.

I take back my recent criticism of Yellowstone. I got used to Kelly Reilly playing Beth Dutton, and the soap-y stuff got less silly after Season 1.

Good ****.
This new season is slow and scattered .. worse of them so far for me.

I've noticed over the past year alot of series's haven't been quite the same. My guess the pandemic has disrupted entertainment just as much as elsewhere and the impact is in the content.

Anyone watching the Wheel of Time on Amazon? I'm enjoying it so far with the usual "the book is better/why did they change that?" whine.

I started watching it, which made me start rereading the books again…and yes…the books are better but am enjoying the tv series too.

trailers look good, it's in my queue - been waiting for some initial feedback from like-minded people :)

Watching cowboy bebop, its a futuristic scifi, japanese styled western

Its kind of quirky/different/cool

beautiful special effects, sets, cinematography

Cowboy Bebop season 2 just got cancelled straight out of the gate... "Interests groups" show 56% dislike so I guess Netflix didn't think twice - too much contents for Netflix to choose from?...

Just noticed that myself.
I watched Cowboy Bebop. It was fun, different and strange, but it kind fell apart near over the last 3 episodes. Some of it had a 80's vibe not so much in visuals but how they told some parts of the story. Overall it seemed like too much effort for a simple cliche story. From a business perspective I can see why they pulled the plug. Creatively would have liked to seem more if the writing was there.

Have never read the books...I was reading Stephen King when my friends were reading sci-fi/ fantasy books I guess. I am enjoying it. Less swashbuckling than I expected which is good...there are enough shows out there to make up for it.

You'll be disappointed. Either way. I went from books to TV and the whole tone of the show is different. They changed quite a bit - and I'm not talking about the gender switching - that part is fine.

If you view the TV series as a separate thing, it's quite good. But not if you are expecting an adaptation of the series of novels.

Do read the books, though. It was one of my favorite series growing up. When I heard they were doing a TV show based on the books, I was very excited. Now I'm just interested to see where they go with it, but not that excited about it anymore.
I just finished this series. I never read the books.

It was entertaining and an interesting complex world which made a great setting, similar with some of the characters.
But I found there were a lot of conveniences which took place to move the story.
Still good, and curious as well to see what is next and how they get there.

Watching Dexter: New Blood.
It's OK, but it lacks the intricacy of the earlier seasons (before they got silly).... Same idea, but just not quite as convincing as it could be.
overall, 6.5 or 7/10

Getting into Death in Paradise. Nice nothing highly complicated, little cheesy and simple. Perfect. Enjoying the location for the setting seems like a great place to visit.

Watching Edens zero with wifey
Wheel of time
Hawkeye
The magicians

Probably will hop on witcher s2 very soon
