If you want something uplifting...

Little America on Apple+. 30 minute episodes each documenting the life on an immigrant to the US. Very heartwarming in these hard times.

Anyone watching “The Good Lord Bird” with Ethan Hawke? The history buff in me is curious about it. Filmed in and around Harpers Ferry, VA.

The Boys S2 was good. But didn't have the same ooph the first season did. I thought Starlight's character might delevop more based on what we saw in S1, but didn't. The new Stormfront character was well done though. Overall felt like a middle, more of a push for S3.

My Next Guest with David Letterman Season 3 is out.

Never liked his talk show, but this format is fantastic.

Felt to me to be on at least the same level as season 1. When something is novel and new it always has more impact than when it becomes the "new normal." I especially liked the "Girls get it done" scene towards the end (not the scene from the 'movie' that introduces the saying).

SPOLIER** I liked it, still doesnt make sense why the cia agents head got exploded in the first couple episodes when the explodee seems to have had the same end goal/agenda..

Yeah that part of the plot didn't make sense/ or was left very unresolved. Also the escaped test subject, nothing more mentioned.

It does actually make sense, but you have to consider that her motivation (or employment) might not be as it appeared ;)

Finished up S7 of The 100, and that's it for the series. Decent ending, but with some rough edges.

I gave up midway through season 2. There's a point beyond which I can't just mentally edit out the fact that everyone is improbably good looking, except for the ones who are supposed to be truly evil, in a post apocalyptic setting. The melodrama also grates. Surprised that I made it that long.

Season 2 is worth finishing, the premise was kinda neat. But yeah, as it dragged on the Teeny drama side was very much in your face.

Haunting of Bly Manor

Thank you for the recommendation.
Started watching it today - I'm hooked.
Probably finish it by tomorrow....
