TV shows currently watching

Grace and Frankie. A little plodding but some A list talent.

Finished up the latest season of Archer…

Def improvement over the previous one.

Three Pines

love it they start
with the most anti-xmas song there is.

Apparently the books are excellent too.
Canadian Hercule Poirot

Sliding too much into weird...hard to tell what is a send up. Bit of Twin Peaks feel.
Do like the main cast.

Twin Peaks vibe for sure.
Like that they are taking some of the Indigenous issues head on.

“The Christmas we get, we deserve” is my favourite line from that song.

Anybody watching "Umbrella Academy"?

My daughter was working on the show so the Squeeze and I we'd try it. As soon as we got to the talking monkey in episode 1 we bailed.

Greg Lake sez song not anti-xtian but methinks he speaks with forked tongue.
I always laugh when it is included with the saccharine xmas music we are plagued with. Glad for Spotify et all.

The lead detectives side kick is a lovely girl and talented too....she makes her own films as well as acting.

Watched the whole thing and quite enjoyed it. I suppose that if you weren't into the stranger comics and graphic novels, you probably wouldn't like it.

I'm not so that makes sense.

43 women around the world become both pregnant and give immaculate birth within the same day, producing gifted children with various supernatural powers and it's the talking monkey that's hard to believe?

It didn't look interesting to me at all when my wife started watching it when it first aired, but after hearing so many rave reviews of it, I finally watched it last month and I was hooked. I think I binged all 3 seasons within a week or so.
