Not sure why anyone in their right mind would support Turkey in any capacity. Terrorist state.
Anyone here old enough to remember this?

The Russians invented the game. They were warned this time. They got slapped. They would be wise not to retaliate, but Putin does not like losing.
Turkey is weird. At a recent soccer match the fans there booed a moment of silence for Paris and reportedly chanted "Allahu Akbar." Russia is one of the few powers actually taking the fight to ISIS and Turkey shoots down one of their fighter/bombers?
Seems like ISIS has a new ally.

They warned them 10 times with no response and the Syrians have been flying sorties near the Turkish border so they could have thought it was a Syrian aircraft.......aside from the huge red star on the tail of course.

already done.. the escort are su35 super flankers/mig35 .. they have the orders to pursue and eliminate ANY THREAT... turkey better ground its airforce... it has nothing in its arsenal to come close to that beast. india has the less sophisticated su-30mki and mig-29(upgraded variants) considered the best air to air fighter s in the world next to the f22... Pakistan's airforce which essentially has the same or better variants of the turkish f-16's didn't dare confront the indian airforce during the kalgir war.. india literally deployed 2 jets over the conflict in shifts.. pakistan kept its airforce far far away...What I bet will happen is Russia resumes the airstrikes, but this time the Su-24s will have escorts. That's probably about the least hostile action Putin could take
Actually I thought that Turkey was supporting the Turkmen...that the Russians were bombing...who aren't actually ISIS but are against Assad (and against ISIS). The situation is pretty nasty over there and every nation player seems to have it's own primary agenda with the secondary agenda being destroying ISIS. Like I said before, if everyone was concentrating on getting rid of ISIS all would be fine but the Russians want to prop up Assad, the US and Brits want to get rid of Assad and the Turks want to support the Turkmen and make sure the Kurds don't get uppity. Seems the French are the only ones buzzing with anger and actually trying to seriously degrade ISIS right now.
You ask 1000 people and you get thousand different answers ..... Very few people know what's going or not going on and none of those people is or will be talking. It's starting to look like never ending Israel/Palestine game. People just give up following it or even care ....
