They got lazy with the design, and their statement was that the frame and swingarm were already great so why change them.

...wondering now if I can squeeze a 765 motor into my '12 Daytona ?

All I heard was patent filling for new frame design, but nothing else.

If you're selling something you need attention and anything new gets you something to yak about. An exciting new tank decal or thrilling new colour beats having absolutely nothing to say.
