trailer question

I want a trailer as well....so I can trailer the bike to sunny warm places during the winter.

But I'm always concerned with the loading and unloading of the bike onto these things. Unless you have a long ramp you can walk beside the bike and walk it up, and the trailer isn't too high up.

Your ramp can be 8ft long and tie onto the trailer easily, then your not pushing up a 45 degree angle. If you look for places to load / unload with a berm or ditch you can be near level for loading.
Dont forget if you have a light trailer to have it connected to the car and rear blocking isnt a bad idea, having the trailer wheelie when your loading sucks.

Pit bull restraint is the best imho. No pressure at all on the front and rock solid no matter the road conditions.

Hmm...
They make one for the VFR but not for the burgman. What would my best bet be for the burg? Canyon dancers + normal straps on the back?

All good info. thanks!

What is so wrong about having the forks compressed when transporting it? I have the same harbor freight setup (4x8 foldable with the harbor freight sportbike chock). If anyone knows of a good how-to-video on strapping it down with that setup, would be much appreciated, because apparently I've been going about this the wrong way the last few years..

It pre maturely causes fork seals to leak, due to being under high compression for hours at a time.
