Tow Truckers

Many years ago I was insured by ING. Car got hit by another driver (not my fault). I had recently moved to the area so I took the car to where the insurance company recommended (Ck Collision Oshawa). 2 times I declined to accept the car as the paint was horribly blended and was VERY visible (to which they easily agreed once I pointed it out). On the 3rd time the paint was fine but I found they had buggered up the sunroof so that it wouldn't open (I pointed it out and they said they had to take it out but may not have tested it and then tried to say "well maybe it was broken when the car came in" to which I quickly shut them down on). After another week went by they said they can't figure it out so pick up the car and they'd pay for an autoglass place to fix it (to which I had then set up with a reputable shop prior to me accepting).

That's my "insurance-approved" experience.

Interesting, thanks for sharing. Maybe I'm lucky but the worst experience I've ever had was not even that bad. They didn't remove some rubber gasketing and just masked it instead, so there was a bit of an edge to the clear coat. I complained, and they redid it. And then I noticed a few months later another area I had not originally noticed had the same issue. Went back and again they redid it.
