Toronto, the city of knee jerk reactions!

ha ha banning anything only works if you're law abiding in the first place. So now only law abiding citizens don't have guns. So what would it matter if law abiding citizens without guns can't get ammo?
 
They should ban people instead. They're the one pulling the trigger after all.

Anyone with half a brain knows that the guns and ammo are black market so they will do nothing to stop the shootings. Even if they were not, does he really think they will not just drive outside the city and buy them there?

Well the city does not have an infinite amount of money. Any ban and the associated law suits and enforcement will cost the city money. Money that could be spent on trying to reduce the number of illegal guns instead of legal ones.
 
I think they should just teach the "gangsters" to shoot straight so they take out each other instead of innocent bystanders. Let the problem sort itself out.
 
The bag ban will be meaningless since there will be plastic bags available everywhere else outside the city of Toronto. Go to Mississauga, Vaughn or Pickering and get your groceries in plastic bags.
