buying an illegal handgun is impossible, the current provincial and federal regulations have made it so
a city bylaw on ammunition sales will stop all the crime

Now, I'm not normally a huge gun-toting enthusiast or anything, but I can't believe the utter RETARDATION of this argument. How can these people NOT see that these criminals aren't using legal handguns in the first place?? As if outlawing them will suddenly prevent them from getting firearms??

2/3 of gun crime guns used in TO are illegally imported from the US. I don't even think you can get handgun ammo in Toronto anyway (9mm, 45 ACP).

Didn't they ban all the ranges in toronto already. How is is possible to still have gun violence?
 
The CFO wont issue authorization to transport anywhere but approved ranges and gunsmiths... its impossible for a shooting to have happened at eatons centre.

This is 9/11 all over again!

I have never heard of any store that has ammo in the city. I heard Canadian Tire used to sell it, but don't anymore after the ban several years back..

Yea used to but I think they jumped on the wagon with K-Mart and others after Columbine.

Apparently there is one store and two wholesalers in Toronto proper that sell handgun ammo but I don't know who they are.
 
Al Flaherty by Allen rd and Eglington sells handguns and ammo.

Most people purchase their ammo online as its cheaper even with shipping.

Didn't the guy who was shot at eaton center, stabbed the shooter a few weeks back?

Here's a solution, maybe he shouldn't have stabbed the fella in the 1st place?
