Toolkit, to keep on the bike to to remove?

get an hour or more away from toronto and that wait can turn into 4 hours while caa finds a flat bed willing to come.

Ya they take a while. I had to wait 2 hours once and I was only in Malvern haha.
 
When your battery dies in Milton and you can't bump start it and need the tool kit to remove the seat so you can boost the battery to get home, you'll wish you had the tool kit in there

I keep mine in and added a couple things to it. Helps to have around when your Speedo cable decides to come undone and you're about to go on the highway.

It's possible, especially on an older bike. A friend of mine had a CBR600F2 and in order to get to his battery, he needed to use his toolkit.

... that he also needed a screwdriver in order to get to.
 
I think a lot of sportbikes with two-level seats need tools to remove the rider's seat, which frequently covers the battery.
