What do you guys think of this 4'x8' slat wall kit for $145 shipped? Just not sure where to get additional hooks and shelves, or if they're the universally compatible type (unlike my Gladiator system):

Looks good to me. I have these in my shed that holds much of the woodworking and outdoor tools and it cleaned it up immensely.

Since I spend a lot of time "tinkering" at the bench I like to have the screwdrivers close to hand. Also I found that strong magnets can be quite handy. Note the magnet on the far right holding the steel rules. Holds that large 2ft Starrett rule no problem.

If you look close you can see I screwed up and cleaned 3 RH float bowls and only one LH

Good deal.

You can get slatwall hardware at Home Depot, or used at many retail shelving recyclers.

Slotwall fixture can be secured with a screw and the board doesn’t need a frame, so installation is easy.

Horizontal filing cabinets are really good too. I have two horizontal and two conventional in the garage.
I used to have office cabinets in the garage, they are great if stationary. They are not designed to move, so wheels are a problem.

I like everything to move easily in my garage.

This is the toolbox at the ISS.
