Took my first fall today :(

im not 100% sure but i think oil

check all your fluids tomorrow to determine what is low, and go from there. may want to try and follow where the drip is from or place some paper on the ground to determine the colour of the fluid.

good luck.

gasoline smells...you'll be able to tell right away if it's gas...Oil is viscous...wear a glove and touch the fluid and see if it's kinda thick...coolant is usually orange in color

When your bike falls on the side, the coolant and gas will leak through the overflow hoses. Maybe the coolant leaked into the fairings? Obviously, make sure that your oil and brake fluids levels are ok.

The closest bike store / mechanic to you may be Riders Choice (Queensway/Dixie), or TO cycle, as already mentioned.

Here are some photos... just FYI, the fairing around the light was already cracked from previous owner. my slide scratched up the right side, broke my turn signal, and the handlebar is bent, im showing a photo how bad its bent.

also there is the oil slowly dripping down the kick stand... but it seems to stop flowing when the bike is straight up

tell him MacDoc sent you.....great guy

Falls happen - no great harm and you'll watch that front end a bit closer.
Now it's scraped a bit get out on the some of the dirt roads around the escarpment - learn your rear braking and how your bike handles in the soft stuff. It's great practice.

Think back - were you on the front brake???

People need to pay attention to road conditions before they corner.

Thanks captain obvious, next you're gonna tell us that the 9/11 hijackers shouldn't have been let on the planes.........

OP, I would guve the bike a wash and go from there. If theres oil stuck on your fairings then they could possibly be dripping overtime. At the very least it will make it easier to determine the point of the leak. If you're not afraid I'd take off the fairings as well to get a better look.

It would be best to try and determine where the leak is before you take it somewhere. At least then you will have an idea and won't second guess what the shop tells you is wrong. Personally I would just try and fix it myself. Working on your bike is half the fun of owning it.

If it's leaking down the kickstand it's probably just coming out of the overfill drain tube. Check for a small rubber hose dangling from around there, there's a good chance that it's just dripping thanks to the bike shaking things around. Let it sit overnight and check your oil level tomorrow.

We all go down that's normal - nows your chance to really get to know your bike take your fairings off and poke around - you'll learn a lot and maybe find out why there's a leak - figuring it out yourself is part of the challenge and the fun - just like when u first learned to ride.

What you said about the hi jackers doesn't make sense.
I don't think what I said is so obvious, I think some people fall into cornering in "auto pilot mode", and even small bits of gravel can be seen far away at moderate speed.

So it was fine that people were let on the plane with knives(boxcutters same difference)? Did you not understand what I was getting at, that hindsight is 20/20.........

Yup hindsight is always 20/20. Okay, I will never remind anyone ever again to ride safely and no one else on this forum should too.
