I am talking about the guy on the Fiat bike. I personally only encountered him on track three times, and two of those times I watched him do something completely prickish. Maybe I was just "lucky", or maybe he was a menace the whole day. I am guessing the latter.
He wasn't slow by any means - just not adequately mindful of other people's safety.
You are correct. I was at Shannonville. I should have been more clear. They had only had 2 groups: fast and slow. On thing I did like about it is that they gave a few minutes notice before each session was up on the PA. You always knew which group was up no matter where you were or what you were doing.
Every time I've been to shannonville they've never ever done tech, lol.
At TMP they are getting better at announcing the sessions changes as well. Loud whistle a few times when 5 mins to go in the current session, and they set out the next sessions flag under the current one. Really no excuse for missing your session.
I like the dual flags too because when you're on the track and you see the other flag out you know you better pass that guy you've been following and set some record lap times before the session is over
I hate it when you're on a super smokin lap and they throw the checker, makes me want to blow by it and then pull into the pits at the END of the front straight, so my lap timer gets the lap!!! lol.
