TMP or SMP Sept 28?

Both TMP and SMP have track days on Sept 28 and weather is going to be fantastic. I'm still debating which one to go. SMP has that loading ramp which makes my life so much easier so leaning towards SMP. I wish TMP would build a loading ramp. FYI: On SMP's website, they said lunch is provided.

Hope to see you guys out there!!!

There is always somebody to help. Loading and unloading is easy with 2 people. Don't let that be a deciding factor if you'd rather go to TMP.

To get your bike out of your truck? Back it down into the drainage ditch that runs between the pit area and washrooms, easy easy ;)

I like SMP (long) more than TMP as far as the track goes. I haven't been on SMP since the repairs they did.

Thanks for the great advice guys. I think it's SMP tomorrow for me but I'll make the final decision when I get up in the morning. Thanks again!

All of you guys would have been singing a different song if you lived only 35-40 mins from TMP ;)

TMP is a shorter drive for me and cheaper, I'd still rather ride smp long any day over TMP. It's the track not the drive or cost for me

Woot woot, no lap records but some super fun chases. My friends brand spankin new Hero3 only recorded the first three sessions properly, all of the rest of the sessions (including his crash) are just black corrupt videos. Damn Hero3 black edition!!! I told him to get a Hero2! lol.

I only got a pic or two of my friend and that smokin hot chick on the orange gixxer. I'll post em up shortly. All the videos from my Hero2's are downloading (front and rear cam).

What group were you riding in? I was in slow and there were a few idiots in my group - several unsafe passes.

There was no tech and really a free for all. TMP can organize better track days than SMP for sure. I always enjoy riders plus when they host at SMP. Weather was simply amazing!

Is she un hurt? I hope.
I said goodbye to her friend and was going to say goodbye to her too but she was out on the track at the time I finished packing up and I was already starting to fall asleep from exhaustion so I figured I better get on my way, so I didn't wait around. Her friend Brody (it was his birthday), I didn't get his contact information, but I gave her my card so hopefully she texts or e-mails me (we were going to trade the pics we were taking of each other all day, she said she has some sweet wheelie pics of me, can't wait to see em). I'll keep ya updated if I hear anything :(

I was in intermediate group. I try and do all my passes super clean with lots of room :) Everyone passed me with respect today too, and because I was running stock mufflers I could hear most people behind me. If I was holding them up I would let them by on the straights.

What do you mean there was no tech? They gave me and my friends bike a through inspection (not sure if because they were very crashed street bikes), told me my front brake fluid was over filled and let me know my coolant reservoir bottle mount screws were loose!

I think there was a miscommunication here. I think acernec was probably at Shannonville.

There was some unsafe passing at TMP as well. One fellow in intermediate in particular had a hard time understanding the rules. He stuffed me in 1 and then couldn't manage to complete his turn without using 99.5% of the track, which left me in an awkward position. Later I was following another rider into 9. The same idiot comes by me and tries to pass the fellow in front, but again can't leave enough space. I saw the other rider try to turn in, see Mr Doofus exactly where he needed to go, then straighten it up and ride off the track. After witnessing that I suggested to the starter that they might like to have a chat with him*. Black flag next lap. As far as I know he behaved himself after that.

Probably I have some of this on video I will check.

You are correct. I was at Shannonville. I should have been more clear. They had only had 2 groups: fast and slow. On thing I did like about it is that they gave a few minutes notice before each session was up on the PA. You always knew which group was up no matter where you were or what you were doing.
