I don't know what else to tell you. I was one of the ones complaining about the bales in the TMP thread last year, too. I was there this weekend. The bales are there and they adequately cover the "impact zone" of the wall.
Yeah, the perspective must be wonky then... I know there was a concern with leaving the bales there and having them destroyed by cars who think it's fun to smash them, so I thought maybe they were taken away if GWB didn't run the Monday.
We could complain about the price instead. Washrooms were already covered. LOL
I was there late sunday afternoon to talk to mikey and his bud. Washrooms were working and uli gave everyone a free beer.

why is everyone so after TMP. You guys ask them to fix stuff they do and you still try and crucify them. They have put money into the hay bales this year to make sure they are wrapped and will stand up better just like ken said they should. they have done a little (very very little) paving to make the entrance and exit of the track better. They are trying and all they get on here is bashing. and from guys I havent seen there in years.
There are problems they are trying to tend to. They dont want the washrooms to be down....It has something to do with the municipality making them shut them.
The price on the other hand I think everyone can agree is a problem. 180 plus tax is to high to for place. however the owners assistant was walking up and down the pits giving her card with her contact info on it asking that as many people as possible email her saying the price is too high and suggest what a reasoable price would be for a day there.
What more do you guys want??? mosport put 25 million into the facility and its still have alot of very dangerous places on their track, where the mosport bashing??
oh well by 2056 fort erie will be open and we will all be there all the time

You're right, I shouldn't be bashing them, as I haven't been there in almost 2 years. With the high price it's unlikely that I'll be there this year either. The bales are good, not arguing that, it was just that I didn't see them in the pictures and was wondering why. Hopefully they get the septic system sorted out. That would go a very long way to making TMP a more attractive place to go.
