At one point in my life I saw someone physically assaulting girls that worked at a grocery store. He may have accidentally run into a building at full speed face first. He wasn't feeling great about his choices in life.

A lot of it isn't even the safety net, it's upper middle class brats with nothing to do once they finnish their gender studies degrees.

EDIT: I think we would see a huge reduction in 'woke' culture, or whatever else it's called if people actually had to fight for survival on a day to day basis. Who's got time to worry about 'wokeness', 'harassment', 'mental health', etc etc when you're wondering where your next meal comes from?

I'm sure (without proof) that the only reason we have so much idiocy around is because people have too much time on their hands and they're bored...so they find something to focus their energies on. Good or bad.

Back in Africa, if you gave the finger to a politician you went to jail for six months and might be missing the finger when you came out.

I was working at a luxury condo and commented to security about all the measures. He said it wasn't to keep outsiders out. It was to monitor the brat spawn of the doctors, lawyers, accountants and CEOs that lived there.

Back on home turf the local variant is the influencer wanting their wedding or vacation paid for by the venues.

Back to the original problem. The police don't have the resources to take this on.

Secondly, if they did, the court time, trial delays etc means punishment,if meted out, would be a year after the offence and the perpetrator would have that time, being consoled by friends, that it was an insignificant prank.

If you want to train an animal the reward or punishment has to be within a minute of the action of the animal. If your dog pees on the rug Monday a swat with a newspaper on Friday just confuses the creature. This leaves us with street justice.

So you catch someone deflating your tires and give them a kick in the rear end. They get a blood clot from the bruise and die of an embolism. Manslaughter.

Hopefully the tire extinguisher had enough sense to pick a time when there would be no witnesses to the deflation or subsequent ass kicking.
 
Why the hate on for SUV's?

Unless they are 6 liter V-8 a SUV isn't much different than a pre WWII car. Higher roof, better visibility and better ground clearance. Mine has a 4 cylinder. We got into the lean and low stuff in the 1950's and people now prefer sitting higher. Not every SUV is a Hummer.

My original comment was....if we are throwing random conspiracy theories Goodyear funded it to sell more tires.... But since you brought it up, they also donate plenty to political campaigns so obviously it was Goodyear.

Don't be sheeple.... Goodyear donates to politics, they have an office in Toronto, they benefit directly from damaged tires!
