Tim's Credit Card

There was no good times in 1974 , the US energy crisis ruined cars , the Brits were still trying to sell 650 twins and platform shoes were a thing . 1974 sucked . So did ‘75 .

Remember the horrible chicory coffee at McDonalds?
It's ironic that they now serve the same coffee that made Tim Horton's famous and Tim's now serves an inferior product.

Reactions: TK4
Now very good pot is cheap but making it legal sucked (try to ignore the pun) all the fun out of it.

... OH... and we got the first cr125s in Canada in '74. Things weren't ALL bad.
You could buy a Ducati Imola for $3500CDN... if you could find one

Also Ford introduced the Pinto and Maverick

And in 1974; Tim Horton DIED. Crashed his Pantera on the QEW, stoned and drunk. A true Canadian.

That’s a myth, mc,d didn’t take over tims old brand.

I read about it on the internet so it must be true!
Tim's has gone down hill and McD coffee has got a lot better regardless of the cause.
It may be that coffee without the Blueberry Fritter is just not the same.
Drinking coffee out of a paper cup is like drinking whine out of styrofoam.

You've done a lot of research, Almost every credit card I can think of now has some sort of "rewards" so no surprise to see a Tim's card.
These "Branded" cards seem to be a trend towards younger clients that typically don't have a grasp on financial responsibility, so the 26% interest make a lot of sense as most users will likely not pay the balance off each payment cycle and I am sure Tim's get's a cut.
Most of these are just data capture tools the Finacial part is just a bouns if you fall into the trap.

In 1974 my mom got a comet GT , 302 V8 . It was 140hp off the lot . By December 74 Dad had 300ish hp coming out of it . By the 1977 the only thing not rusted out were the tires .

I hated Disco, but I loved the clubs . No idea where my powder blue jacket went.

I had a base model Maverick (no radio but upgraded tires)
The straight 6 went like stink but the brakes where from the van they sold at the time.
After total brake fade while towing a trailer with dirt bikes I sold it and bought a Volvo P1800ES
