Timmys timely service

ewwwww.........ppl actually drink Tims coffee and admit it?

I'll stick to battery acid, thanks. It tastes better.

.

Went through the drive through at a Timmys in Orillia to get a quick snack

ME: I will have a chicken wrap please.
Timmys Lady: We don't serve them until 10 am
Me: (Looking at my watch) well it's 9:59
TL : Our clock says it is only 9:58
ME: Well thats only 2 minutes early
TL: WE DON'T SERVE CHICKEN WRAPS TIL 10:

Where do they find these people?

Had to laugh, it immediately reminded me of that movie with Michael Douglas where he fires shots into the restaurant ceiling when they won't serve him an egg mcmuffin because it is one minute after 11;

Lmao! I love that scene...

it's the soccer mom ordering the 40 timbits but can't have them mixed at random that makes me start blurting out c bombs in line

Hah. Get behind gramma and grandpa on a Saturday AM when they want to buy a dozen for the grandkids and each donut choice requires a conference.

BTW No one has mentioned the crappy counter layout where there isn't enough room for them to put down your coffee while you dig for change.

did you wait in line for the two minutes until 10:00?

No, I did not want to hold up people behind me for 2 minutes before they even started to make the chicken wrap. They are made pretty fast though.

For those who felt I should go into the store, I nearly always do but I could see in the store and the line up was very long and they looked like a seniors bus had just unloaded.
Sorry for the ageist comment (I am well into my senior years) but gosh don't many seniors irritate you when they have been in line 5 min. still don't know what they want, then have to pay for it in pennies, nickels and dimes

Crap, now I am beginning to sound like a grumpy old man.

Thanks for the Micheal Douglas clip, hadn't seen it in years!!

Sense of time seems to dull with age.

Have an older retired couple as neighbors back home, who are usually outside doing whatever in the yard.

When I'm home, is my time to have access to the garage, power washer etc. and it's on the side of the property next to theirs. While they are pretty awesome neighbors (she uses us for guinea pigs for her baking), I am usually busy when I'm outside. Working on bikes, working on vehicles or whatever home project that has been waiting for me to show up to get done, plus I like to have the time to go see friends etc.
They will talk FOREVER about anything it seems. It's nice, when I'm not in a rush, but when I'm covered in grease, in the middle of a job and in the flow, I really don't feel like stopping to chit chat... Unless she's bringing me Cookies.

Heck, I hardly even stop working to check out the hottie across the road when she's mowing the lawn in her cut off jeans and bikini top.

You asked for it... creeper pics or gtfo

Ahaha yeah i have neighbours like that too, they start talking to you and you dont wanna be rude so you kinda have to chat and in the back of your head, all you can hear is "SHUTUPSHUTUPSHUTUPSHUTUPSHUTUP"

I'm not sure it dulls, they just have no need to be anywhere else, in any particular time frame. Grocery store while they try and pull EXACT change form thier purse, coffee shop trying to get 1.5 creams and just sprinkle of sweetener, more than a tad but certainly less that a dabble. In the line at the bank, showing the teller pictures of the grandkids and discussing the $2 passbook fee for the third time that month.

I have a neighbour like that as well. My wife has instructions to call me on the cell after 5 minutes. "Sorry gotta go."

Ya know..they aren't working at Tim's because they can split the atom...
Not a whole lot of ppl can split an atom, u know??

Your (or whoever's) need to procreate shouldn't affect me detrimentally.

I have a "sense of entitlement" because you're too entitled to get your butt out of your car and not inconvenience me and the other 10 people behind you? Give your head a shake.

I think she's starting to troll now, lol

Hey there is a possibility that before it hits 10:00am, the option of ordering a wrap is blocked in their system.

Last summer, starbucks had a promotion of half priced frappucino everyday till 3:00pm for a week. I showed up around 3:03pm and they said they can't do it cuz the system doesn't allow them.

I'm not sure if Timmy's ordering system has the same feature. Anyways, even if this is the case, I would still expect her to briefly explain that it's due to the system instead of just simplying repeating "we dont serve wraps till 10".
