Timmies 403/Dundas: For riders?

Went there once...seemed pretty unfriendly...tried to strike up a conversation a couple of times and was basically ignored.

Riders at hwy10/eg just seem friendlier and less worried about making sure the blue on their jacket is matching their bikes.

Might be an Oakville vs. Mississauga thing...who knows?

Hiway 10 and Eglinton = 10 Egg = Biker's Dozen.......Ooooooh snap, I'm coining that!!!

Used in a sentence: "I'm riding with the Biker's Dozen" or "I'll meet you at the Biker's Dozen".

I prefer the new spot at Eglinton / HW10, and Leslie / Lakeshore...fewer shooters.

What? Since when? I live just down the street!! I hardly see any bikes.. what time is this around??

I live nearby as well and ive never seen any bikes around. Is this at the timmies on eg?

Also go ahead and admire the fine landscaping and perfectly manicured grass... that is my doing... Im there once a week. bikes and cars there chillin daily. Some poser's in cars come around on the CLOCK as early as 9-10 am, pose for an hour or two, smoke some weed, sell some weed, take off for another hour, come back and pose hard. like it was their job

Ya im talking about you yellow colbalt, white golf with porsche rims, and bright green nissan 240..

The drive thru at that location is a posers favorite because its lined with reflective windows all along the drive thru que, thats about 5 mins of pure, hard stare time

Update: I stopped by at this Timmies last night, looking for riding companions. As I rode close to pack of bikers standing there, I noticed there was a big pack of bikers in one location and two bikers parked a short distance away from the bigger crowd. Stopped in front of the two guys, introduced myself, talked bikes for a couple of minutes and I asked if they were up for a nice, relaxed pace ride. They quickly agreed, one of them suggested a route and off we went.

We rode for a while, then stopped at the Timmies in Streetsville, where we chatted and enjoyed a java. One guy asked me whether I went often to the Timmies at 403/Dundas and I told him it was my first visit. He indicated that he was there only a few times before. He also pointed out that in his few visits there, he observed that the main pack of riders hanging out there were the same people every time.

So this ties back to most of the previous posts in this thread, where some people talked about a group of posers hanging out here and others said it is a good place to meet people for rides. I did the latter, and do not intend to do the former...

Thanks for the ride, Polo and Ricky!

Bikers can be found here as early as 3pm - 3am. Its actually funny when someone takes over the spot right at the road as it seems the place will be devoid of bikes for the night. I like within 2 minutes so I see this everyday.
