Time for a new lid/brain bucket

Did the switch several years ago to a BMW System 7 (Schuberth) and have no regrets. The the built-in visor is the biggest advantage

About time for a new one so most likely getting another Schuberth but am tempted to try the HJC RPHA 90S or Nolan N100-5 in a light solid colour. (White or silver)

how do you find the fit compared to RF1200?
Shoei's fit me great.

Fits great. I had and tried AGVs in the past, never liked their fit. Felt like there wasn't much hugging my chin or cheeks.
This one has a really fitted neckroll, you actually have to don the helmet with bar up and close it afterwards.

Was also looking at the RPHA90s Carbon, but no one seems to have any stock yet.

Looks like Schuberth is continuing with their PIA floppy visor problem.
Fix it ahead of time

If your visor looks like this ....fix it up front.

I love modular after too many years in a Bell star.
I'd been eyeing the Shark Evoline 3 for a while and pulled the trigger. Very pleased.
Fully certified as bothe 3/4 and FF.

Looks like a normal FF when closed.
Did they fix the sun shield? Mine is so close to my face that I can't set it down with eyeglasses on.

Did they fix the wind tunnel between the cheek and head pads? That's my biggest complaint about my Shark modular -- at over 100kmh, a stream of air flows between the pads directly into your ears when the face shield is up. Very annoying.

Just bought a Klim Krios. Super light weight and very quiet.

Not sure on the sun shield ...I have to keep it up a bit as hits my rather large nose when full down but also clears my rather bulky sun glasses... If I had to do it again I might get the later version of the Evo series.

But it has the same main visor issue I'm waiting a replacement on. ( anti-fog/glare film )
Happy with the sun visor function and clarity.

It's been quiet but I always put pads of ear plugs under the ear flaps on all my helmets and fill that resonating pocket with -33DB absorption material. ( Howard -Leight orange - I stuff 5 or 6 earlplugs in one of the plastic packs of two and slide it under the flaps...makes for a very good seal for IEMs.
I do have a little whistle when the main visor is up but not enough to chase it. SInce I'm never over 110 here it's hard to judge how effective at the kind of speeds in Ontario.

Have not mastered the one hand flip down yet ..I know there is a trick to it and only if dust or rain do I need it.
..flip up of course is easy and nothing up in the wind is great. Just like riding with a 3/4.
Visor down it is a very tight and quiet seal - they even provide lubricant for the sealing edges and I like the 5 year warranty.
