He's in surgery after a serious car wreck early this morning around 7:00 AM in the Los Angeles area. Multiple leg injuries have been reported but his overall condition unknown. He made such a huge comeback from earlier troubles in his life. This one could mean the end of his pro golf career ☹️

He recently underwent minor back surgery too, so there's some speculation out there that this involved painkillers (he looked pretty faded during an interview on the weekend, hence the memes)
Ben Hogan was severely injured in a car crash in his hey day and that was before modern safety features so if there's one person that can come back from something like this, it's Tiger. Here's to hoping ?
 
He screwed up his marriage and I don't know how that has been resolved with his kids and any new relationships. Money shouldn't be an issue but kids need fathers. Hope he's OK even if he can't play.

Single vehicle, single occupant crash is what they have said so far. Road appeared to have a gentle curve in it but nothing exciting. Obviously tons of damage in the crash. There should be at least one contributing factor (speed, distraction, impairment, mechanical, other vehicle) as otherwise he shouldn't have crashed it.
 
Can't imagine this would do his back any good either, especially since he's still healing from his latest back surgery. Plus he's mid 40's so no spring chicken in sports terms. He's obviously a committed, driven person but this may be a bridge too far even for him.
