(RTTNews) - THOR Industries Inc. (THO) said that it has acquired Tiffin Motor Homes Inc. and related companies for $300 million. The deal is funded with a combination of available cash and a draw on the company's existing asset-based credit facility.

For those that know this industry, Wondering if this will be a downfall to the Tiffin brand

The Allegro Bus is sort of a stepping stone to Newell Coach.
Will Thor lower the standard to Dutchmen, KZ, Jayco? Cheap RV plumbing, electrical, cabinets, HVAC?
What has happened to Berkshire since they acquired Forest River? (I don't actually know as I don't spend a lot of time in these rigs)

I can see the temptation to use industry standard components across the full set of brands to reduce inventory and cost. But possibly this is move by Thor to match the bottom to top product range of Forest River (Berkshire Hathaway).
