Anyone else caught in this York Region storm?

I rode my bike to work weather said 30% P.O.P. hope it dies down by tonight, I do not want to ride home in this :(

I saw a few bikes out just before it started to pour

Currently at dufferin and sheppard, this big piece of cloud above me doesn't say it'd stop pouring anytime soon!

Fire alarm on for past hour... Quick response fire department.... Beep beep.... Yawn

Friend sent me pics, 400 and 401 was flooded, Cars sitting up to the windshield in water, total chaos. Hes reporting no power on Steeles west of 400, my moms reporting no power or street lights in Etobicoke by Burnamthorpe and 427. Wow, and here we are, north of GTA, sitting pretty.

Northern Scarborough was Chaos. People have no clue what to do at a dead traffic light. Coupled by female Asian drivers & you have Havoc

My whole neighbourhood got flooded, some people were waist-deep in their basements. Fortunately (kind of) for me mine also flooded last year and I had already ripped all the flooring and possessions out of it... but yeah, ****** buzz. State Farm is gonna be buuussssyyyy tomorrow.

Just got off phone with buddy, his new G37 got stopped in the water, he tried to restart and pumped the water right into the engine. Heard a loud bang then nothing, I'm betting hydraulic locked and pooched the engine.
Lucky that insurance covers stupid.......

Took me 4 hours to get from Woodbine/Steeles onto 404, to get home to Mississauga near Square One in car.

Had to pee in lunchbox during the trip... :'( RIP Lunchbox, was good knowing you for 2 years. Also surprised a trucker while I was doing the deed, he kept looking back as he drove forwards lol.

Side question.. Do cars that get water in the cabin get written off immediately or what?
