Best of luck with the restore. 87 was the only year we got it here.

...... Not much chance of reaching the claimed 145 KPH top speed, .....

lol... I never got it past 120km/h and I weighed 120 lbs back then.

Yup its a rare one im still deciding too try restore it or just part it out lol . After i posted earlier today in this thread few hours ago i ended up just totally stripping it down too bare bones too see exactly what frame was like and little bit rust on frame but not as bad as i thought so its in a ton of pieces now so since most parts are great condition im leaning more on parting it out still undecided lol just might be way more money too actually restore it cause i was wanting to powdercoat the frame and swingarm and as i was striping it most is in great shape so you may see it in the buy sell section and on kijiji soon lol snd yeah ur bike looks great mines still red and white

Starting this thread up again, just bought a 1987 CBX 250, Wondering if anyone knows of after market gas tanks that will fit this? Thanks.
