i dont know anything about these but to be honest if they are street legal and safe/reliable enough for a season or 2 it would be a great beginner bike. really yer going to loose at least a grand off the purchase of a used ninja 250 so paying 1500 for this learn to ride for a season or 2 then taking it off some sweet jumps and lighting it on fire when yer done with it...not a bad deal.

I'm thinking that reliability would be a major concern. That bike has 0.4km on it and it needs a coil??? Why wouldn't the seller replace the coil before the sale? Probably because there is no source for parts for these things outside of China.
 
I would be concerned about being able to license or insure the things. I bet you can't put them on the road legally.

state farm will insure anything- these things are used overseas and tons of kms are put on them. parts are cheap online. you can also buy these on alibaba for about $700 a piece when you buy 10 or more

i guess if its not running you wouldnt be able to take it of those sweet jumps.....but you could still light it on fire.

Messaged this guy about my 250 ninja on the number listed with the ad. Then got a message from some other number. Broken Engrish texts but this is what I got from the messages "3500 my bike for yours". I figured this guy is offering $2500 along with his bike for my 250, sure I'll bite why the heck not. Turns out he wanted me to pay him $3500 for his gsxr and he gets my 250 ninja. After talking to him he lowered his cash to $2500 but the Engrish is tough to understand. Seems like a shady deal from what I've seen and didn't bother to go an further and make a deal.

lots of 125's on kijiji... dont mind asking price, just offer what you think is fair.
