The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

1998 Ducati ST2 $1200 obo cosmetic damage. Would make a sweet naked.
Interesting. Sellers are learning from Realtors and trying to trigger bidding wars. "I have a lot of interest so please make me a reasonable offer."

He also has some issues with counting. From another of his ads "4 antique/vintage ladders 25$ each o.b.o 60$ for all three o.b.o"

Not necessarily trying to get a bidding war. He's likely just getting a ton of annoying people asking if it's still available, what's it needs repaired or to make running, etc. Tire kickers basically and he just wants someone to say they'll show up with $1000 already.

Nope nope nope. Not running? Could have bent valves or worse. 54k kms is nothing on that motor IF it has been taken care of. IF!

And already gone. Surprising imo as those aren't big sellers.

Not big sellers cause they're too expensive brand new for too old of a design. The second generation models (cruise control, heated grips, optional electronic suspension) seem to fly on the used market though as long as they're priced well like this one.

Hard to beat an alternative to a big GS for around half the price used.

If I had a trailer or some way to get that home, I would buy that bike. She's a beaut and a very nice and easy project.

Then I would have to get a hitch put on the Volt and by then the bike will be long gone. Still not a bad thing to do to prepare for buying my next ride, considering how cheap the Uhaul trailers are to rent.

Masked up road trip?

Lets go!

I would! But I can't right now cuz COVID and need to not put myself in any risky situations due to my wife's line of work.
Thanks though Matt!

How about renting a UHAUL pickup and using that?

I’m busy this weekend but would happily strap a trailer to the Odyssey to help you out.

Thanks - appreciate it MP. I'll see what I can get done. If not, no biggie, nice bikes come up every day.

I've been careful. Been pretty much a hermit... back and forth to work (alone).

I could always drive. You could ride there.

We check it out, do the deed, bring it home. It'd only be a driveway 6' visit.

Thanks Matt - much appreciated.
Let me talk to my wife and make sure she's good with another bike in our single car garage and I'll see where it goes.

2002 Honda CB900F $3800 some modes seems clean. I like the round headlight better.

Always liked the look of the 919. Buddy had 2 of them. One in the GTA and one in Seattle where he worked....loved them both.
