The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

'13 Super Tenere with 70k km for $6k in Gatineau. Lotta bike at that price, I suspect there's some room in the price as it's been up for a while

good deal
and I like that it's not plastered with stickers

this is a good deal for someone handy
doesn't run but still priced right for a not too badly molested GPZ550

the commentary of would make a good cafe project is funny
for a bike that in the 80's defined what cafe is
they are about as collectible for old dudes as Yamaha 2 strokes of the same era

edit: I bet it could be had for less than $500
please someone buy it before this dork puts the bar end mirrors on it

Andddd it looks like its gone, guessing its a GTAMer?

Why would you make that assumption?

I don't think GTAM is as big as we'd like to believe, unfortunately. I've sold two bikes and a half dozen pieces of gear in the last year. All listed here on GTAM and Kijiji. Everything sold through Kijiji, not a single reply for anything through GTAM. None of the buyers were familiar with GTAM.

Just my own observation.

Fun explorer for cheap.

the 2009 w 8000kms was for sale last summer at the same price - it never sold - near new condition !
good value imo and you might get it with a near offer..
the ninja 500 is under rated imo, faster than a cb500, fairly light, decent wind protection on the hwy, and cheap on insurance
I like !

how is that toy car idea working out?
Couldn't drive anything because all dealers were closed for service...but now I'm waiting to see if I'm going back to BC or not due to COVID and site being shut down.

If I'm not going...it's either toy or a motorcycle. Been leaning more towards the bike again though...

I've pretty much put the Miata option out. I need some semblance of utility in a vehicle. So thinking of the Toyaburu twins. But a part of me wants a bike and a dad car (something comfortable and sporty) as the Odyssey is just stupid comfortable.

If I had the extra room and some extra cash, I would get one for sure. Just for $hit$ and and giggles.

Flying a sidecar looks like fun, but I'm not sure I'd feel comfortable doing it with my family in the bucket. My wife wasn't all that happy when we flew a catamaran as it was too close to the edge for her.

cat is like the hypersport of sailboats lol
It was like strapping yourself to a supersport with the throttle locked wide open and you hang on for dear life. Tons of fun, but terrifying and very little opportunity to turn down the power. In a light puff of wind it would accelerate from a stop to 10 mph in a boat length. Sold it when we had kids, it was just too hairy to take them out on until they are swimming rockstars.

Not me obviously. Running down powerboats at >20 mph turns a lot of heads.
