$5000 is a bit overpriced. If the seller excepted $4200 to $4400 I would call it a reasonable deal. The sv650 prices are often high. I like it.

edit- wife says I have to sell it..grow a pair already!

I think the seller may be open to negotiations. Almost everyone is overpricing their ads, probably expecting to get low balled.

That's the thing, I always overprice kijiji ads, expecting the lowball. The extreme "I have cash" idiots are always completely ignored, like buddy I don't accept ****in mastercard(well actually I have a square, so I could I guess). I think most people are doing the same.

Just bought an sv. I’ve never ridden ss but probably the nicest handling bike I’ve ridden. Good price and very clean. As light as the fz, but more aggressive ergos and definitely feels better in the corners. Not as punchy as the fz down low, but very smooth fueling. Once you crack the throttle though plenty of power. And that v twin... the sounds and the vibration are definitely fun.

SVs are very nice.

I own the 'ugly' version called gladius. Not to me though.

Anyways I bought a 2012 model with few nice aftermarket parts, better seat for 4k last summer I'm June, one of peak priced month.

So better deals can be had, maybe.

Selling the fz, or keeping both?

My wife has a 2012 in black, bought it last September with 8000km on it for $4000 lol. She loves it more than anything and it matches well on the road with my versys 650.

That's a very good price
Naked or faired?
I'm also looking for an sv but prices are ridiculous at the moment

It's the naked gladius but it came with a Puig adjustable windscreen. I bought it off Laurent, from Alon's whatsapp group.

there may be a very clean and touring equipped '15 FJ-09 available shortly
30K on the odo, Givi luggage, Madstad touring screen, heated grips
absolutely mint, will need nothing....no idea on value, yet

1999 (?) Ninja 250R for $700 or try your offer, needs some work to get on the road (at least a headlight, turn signals, mirrors & valve stem for rear tire):
