10-4 on being Overpriced, Wasn't sure just thought it was interesting being a 1st Gen/1st MY SV650 & it's the Sport Bike Variant, & with km/Year in mind, it's 19 years old with 27000km (Assuming Ad Listed correct mileage), that works out to roughly 1421km/year, depending on how it was stored & Maintenance it would be in good condition & may be worth something.
Anyway, out of Curiosity, I checked on What he was Looking to trade it for, Cheapest was a 1997 Bandit 1200 with 78816km for $3000: https://www.kijiji.ca/v-sport-touri...ed/1344665667?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true

When I had one, my insurance did not surcharge it as supersport. But they still surcharged my ZX11, which was tamer in every way possible

Not that bad, if you can get them to understand that this is not the zx10r. It is classed as a sport tourer and should run the same price range as a fz1 or a 1250 bandit.

This is my bike guys, thanks for posting.

By no means am I expecting to trade for a bike worth oodles more than mine.

Currently there are multiple B12s on kijiji for equal or close value to my SV.

Maybe it was the cabin fever getting to me, but I had to throw (first gen) FZ1 or (first gen) Z1000 in there too. I will place that logic solidly in the "it can't hurt to ask" category.

That all being said, it's a great bike! I will gladly post a few more pics or answer any questions about it here! I'm negotiable on the price.

Mmmhmmm. If it's still around next week when I am back I'll go look at it.

Insurance is pretty good for me, just quoted at $683

I had one 5 years ago and was paying $700ish per year liability only.

3 dumped bikes, and atleast one of them is known to not be road ready. Not what I expect from a $2k+ bike.
